Closing the conference schedule was Playstation's offering or, as they now call it, their E3 Media Showcase. Despite some technical difficulties, on Twitch at least, what was shown was strong. And this was "all about the games" once again, with no presentations by developers, only Shaun Layton appearing to welcome everyone and close out. But what was shown?Kicking off the show was a triple header, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds and a gameplay trailer of Days Gone. A Ubisoft E3 press conference without Aisha Tyler hosting, can it work? What made the Ubisoft conference stand out in the past become a by the numbers reveal show. E3 The Conferences - The PC Gaming Show

Back for its third year with regular host, Sean 'Day[9]' Plott, the chat show-esque show delivered a mixed bag of new and previously seen titles.Kicking things off was the exclusive reveal of X-COM 2: War of the Chosen.New features include classes, enemies, environments, three factions and an evolving Chosen that dogs you throughout the new campaign, it's abilities improving alongside your own. E3 The Conferences - Bethesda & Devolver Digital

Bethesda's turn now and, well, it felt kind of a disappointment after Microsoft's reveals.The talking point here was the reveal of the Creation Club, an in-game mod database for Fallout 4 and Skyrim: Special Edition on the three main platforms, PS4, Xbox and PC. The problem is that the FAQ wording states "credits' would be used for acquiring individual mods. Is this a return to paid mods that went down so well on Steam? So here it is. Microsoft's Project Scorpio is officially The Xbox One X. Boasting true 4k resolutions, or super sampling if you do not own a 4k television yet, this liquid cooled beast of a console will be released November 7th for $499.Backwards compatibility was addressed for both the new and existing consoles. The Xbox One X will be fully compatible with all existing Xbox One titles, offering a power boost to boot. But the Xbox One was not left behind.
