Bonbon is a short, first-person domestic horror narrative in which you play through the childs eyes, I don't even think I should call it a game, it's more like a short story, it's probably gonna take you around 20 minutes to finish it. Although I hated the gameplay, when I finished the game and started thinking about it, it gave me some insight, it's one of those games where you try to figure out the ending for yourself. So, you play as a little kid, and for the first 15 minutes you just put away your toys, but that creepy looking rat is always there watching you, and I guess helping you?
So, because I can't really type anything about the story because I don't wanna spoil it, let's just jump in to the scores.
As I said, it's confusing, but it the end (and if you watch and listen to the details) it all (kinda) makes sense. The game really made me think about the ending and I always appreciate when games do that.
Bonbon is beautiful, not AAA beautiful but Indie beautiful, really like the visuals.
Voice acting is weird, but I didn't expect much from the begginning, atmosphere is ... meh.
FINAL SCORE: 7/10
A good little horror game that's really cheap, I don't think you're gonna want to replay it but still, if you're a fan of these kinds of games, just get it, it's only 3 euros :)
I mean I guess that's all the original Doom games ever were? Only with even less story!
But I know what you mean about the repetitiveness of the more modern Doom games, I think the fact they're so intense and demanding means you actually get mentally exhausted after just a few hours, I completed the original Doom just a few weeks ago and I didn't get that same fatigue. I pre-ordered Eternal and I still haven't completed it! But I tend to take my time with games and I'm perfectly okay with taking up to a few years to complete a game, so long as I get there eventually.
With Doom and Wolfenstein thriving with modern releases, I think I'd really like to see a new take on the Quake series.May 06, 2020
Not really a fan of the new Doom games ,they seem a bit repetitive ,go here ,shoot these ,go there ,shoot these though might just be me getting old.
I prefer story driven games these days.April 30, 2020

There's conspiracy theories that say Russia and Asia (china) employ very large teams to undermine all sorts western economies/businesses in any way they can ,online and offline.
There is some truth in it ,evidence does turn up every now and then.
Sure there's some good people from that part of the world but the cost is now looking too high.
I'd ban all connections coming from those countries if it was me in control.
Look at the price the world is paying right now for allowing access to our markets/economies.
All those cheap imports are not looking so cheap now.
Here's hoping western countries and big business finally wake up.
Though i fear the rush for a quick buck will continue unabated when the current crisis dies down
and not forgetting ,sadly, our wildlife will continue being slaughtered.March 26, 2020

Why not use a Ryzen CPU? They're just as good as the Intel i9s if not better. And cheaper!March 01, 2020
