Miami Hotel Simulator Review

Are you a fan of popular House Flipper or those chill renovation games? Well, here comes the new Miami Hotel Simulator. It was developed by Last Howl and published by PlayWay S.A., released on July 24, 2025, and honestly, it feels like it needed way more time before coming out. The idea sounds cool at first, renovating hotel rooms, upgrading stuff, maybe some management, but once you get into it everything feels... empty and boring.

Let's take a closer look.
There is an option to create your own character, which is okay, you don't really need it to be honest, but if you want to, you can simply create one. After you create your character it's time to start the game, and you get a simple message about how you bought a hotel and now have a chance to turn your life around and make things right, so it's pretty straightforward and simple, right? It still feels fine at that moment, your first mission is to clean a bar room, which doesn't even look like a bar, it's just a container with a bunch of vending machines and it looks completely empty.

Okay, it does look empty and what? For sure we can change that later. So let's move on, clean the place and see what's next and that's what I did. Cleaned the place, painted the walls, and it was finally time to clean some hotel rooms. To be honest, the cleaning doesn't feel satisfying, same with painting or anything else you do in the game, it all feels kind of lifeless. But yeah, I did clean the room and finally got to the most important part! The laptop with furniture and more stuff! That's what we're all waiting for, right?! Right?! A bunch of stuff that can make our hotel rooms look good and bring some life back into them!

Yeah.. about that... Actually, there are not that many furniture options to buy. Sure, you can probably create a couple of nice looking rooms, but they still end up feeling pretty empty and In theory, that might be fine for a hotel room, but it also feels kind of boring.
Besides that, you also have to take care of new customers. You give them your freshly finished room, and once they leave, you get your cash and it’s time to clean up again. Wash the sheets in the washing machine, put them back on the bed, and the room is ready for the next guest. because eventually you can hire a worker. That changes things a bit and you’re no longer stuck doing every little task yourself, and it finally feels like you’re running a hotel instead of just cleaning one. It’s a small upgrade, but it makes a big difference.

You can hire a worker to do one of three things: cleaning, reception, or cooking. And yes, there is a kitchen, but to be honest, that’s where things get worse again. The food looks truly unappetizing. It’s bland, lifeless, and weirdly textured. Prison food probably looks better. You expect something that adds charm to the hotel, maybe even a bit of style, but.. maybe not here..

You can also take a loan, which is a good part, right?...right... The game also had some performance issues, fps drops, but at this point i didn't care much anymore, i just felt bored most of the time, maybe the start wasn't the worst, but the more i did play, the less i wanted to be here or feel relaxed.

I can't really recommend the game in its current state and I don't even want to. I was just really bored, and maybe it's simply not for me. That happens, but the game honestly feels like it's still in early access. Maybe it's too simple and minimalistic for my taste. If they added more furniture and features to make the experience more engaging, I might eventually change my mind, but right now, I really can't. The game also has a multiplayer option, but I don't even feel like playing it with friends, I really doubt it would be fun at all.
