V Rising is a unique mix of survival, open world, and base building genres with a fun Vampiric twist. With it's official release in early may of last year, it has come quite a long way since it's Early Access, and has had a quite positive reception.  I myself have not had the pleasure of picking the title up since Early Access, so watching the refinement that has come over time has been absolutely pleasant and a real treat to revisit. The gameplay has been smooth, and things have clearly been optimized- so getting back into the saddle was an absolute breeze.

The reason for my revisitation was the beautiful Eternal Dominance Pack - the newest in the DLC lineup that V Rising has to offer. Let me tell you right off the bat: If you are a fan or rich vibrant colors with gold accents, this is the DLC for you. Some may find it over the top, but if your vampire is one to live lavishly, this is nearly everything you need. Featuring a wide variety of assets that range from wallpaper, staircases, tables, floors lights and more, there is everything you could ever want. With 12 different color variations to choose from, there is plenty of selection to choose from. I myself was fairly partial to primarily purples with green accents, but there is PLENTY to pick from, catering to a wide range of color preferences.

Not only is this pack overflowing in opulent riches for your castle, but for yourself as well! There is an absolutely gorgeous skin for your wolf shapeshift: The Gilded Darkwolf. This was by far one of my favorite parts of the DLC, since wolf shift has always been my preferred mode of transportation.  For those who prefer the higher ground when traveling, there is also the Darkvenom War Saddle, which will absolute deck out your faithful steed in some of the finest armor you can craft.  Both are highly detailed models, though I wish you were given the option to select from the same color options given with most everything else in this pack. It certainly would have been the icing on the cake for those of us who care very peculiar with color matching.

Overall,  The Eternal Dominance Pack is absolutely beautiful, boasting tons of options for players looking for some upscale living. That being said, the contents of this pack are entirely cosmetic, as are the other DLC Packs available for V Rising. Some players may find the price tag of $19.99 USD a little steep, especially when all but the Founders Pack are roughly around $9.99 USD. I would say that comparatively there is a bit more heft to this one, and if you're looking for a way to support the developers this is a fantastic way to do so. Ultimately there is quite a bit to appreciate in this DLC with it's unique visuals, and it's a nice addition to add to any Luxury Castle.
