Torn Away Review

Torn Away is a poetic and unfortunately very timely look on war through the eyes of a child. Set during World War 2, it places you in the shoes of ten-year-old Asya, a Soviet girl that escaped her fate of becoming a labor camp worker and is now facing the greatest battle of all – crossing Germany and Poland to return to her family. She doesn’t fight, but she can sneak and hide in this touching side-scrolling adventure that mixes stealth, platformer, puzzles, and cinematic first-person segments. This War of MittenWith a deep focus on narrative while taking you into this melancholic

Tangle Tower review

Tangle Tower is a point & click puzzle adventure game featuring Detective Grimoire. Personally I didn't play any puzzle game in a looong time, and it brought back so many memories from childhood that I just want to play more puzzles, riddles and adventure games like this one :DAdvantagesSounds and music is good and on pointPuzzles are fun to solve, and they're not too hard, what

Chicken Police - Paint it RED! Review

You’d be hard-pressed to find another game released this year that is quite as visually uncomfortable as Chicken Police – Paint if Red! is. Actually, that isn’t fair, it is actually dripping in style, with a strong 30s noire feel to it, complete with film grain giving everything a gritty tone. It’s more the characters that induce discomfort. They’re all broad noire archetypes: a washed-up detective, a crime boss, a femme fatale, but they are also anthropomorphic animals. No, that isn’t right, they are animal heads beautifully rendered in photographic detail meshed onto human bodies. It is extremely disconcerting finding yourself
