Static Dread: The Lighthouse Review

Things were well enough on the mainland. The sea air was intoxicating, the slightest haze swirling just above the waters surface. You flip open your tattered and worn wallet, index finger brushing across the faded and worn central point, digit gracing along that prominent outwards curve. The leather silently gives from years of use, calloused fingers producing a photo from it's central fold. Two pair of beautiful bright eyes and a set of warm smiles meet your gaze: Your lovely family. You wouldn't be out here for long. It would only be a few days before the next Keeper was on

DEVOUR Review

Survival horror with friends? Yeah, why not!?Devour isn’t exactly new you might’ve heard of it already. It was developed and published by Straight Back Games and first released on January 28, 2021, but since then, quite a few things have changed. They have added a VR mode, which sounds nice actually, though I haven’t tried it myself. What I did play was the regular co-op mode with some friends. Paranormal Clean Up Review

Developer Manic Mice, who have brough a fair share of horror titles to the table have done it yet again. Though personally, I found this much more of a unique twist off of a cleaning sim than the other way around.  So while there may be

Stygian: Outer Gods Review

In the distance, a low roar spilled across the skies, echoing it’s foreboding song. Despite this, the boat rocked quietly along it’s appointed path, my gaze diverted to the pages below me. I was scarcely aware of any present company, nor the foreboding cast that grew in the sky overhead as we drew closer to our destination: Kingsport.Long estranged since our youth, Victoria had convinced me along on this excursion; with some guilt, I’ll admit I still find it hard to resist her feminine charm. I sighed, calloused fingers turning a page deftly, eyes scouring through the notes of my father.

DeathOmen Review

DeathOmen is a new first person psychological horror game by Brazilian indie developer Jeff Winner, and publisher CreativeForge Games. I received a key for the demo, and after a few minutes of playing I was thinking “meh”. But then a slow dread started to sink in, and suddenly something happened that I haven’t experienced in a long time - a jump scare actually caused me to jump! There are some issues here including a shallow story and some uninspired gameplay, but a good horror atmosphere wasn’t one of them.YOU CAN NEVER BE TOO CAREFULThe game takes place within a small house.
