Split Fiction Review

As a fan of two-player co-op games, I was very excited to see Hazelight Studios putting out their third game, Split Fiction, in the spring of last year. As a gamer severely lacking a budget for games, I immediately decided to wait a year or two for a good sale. I suppose the asking price wasn't too awful, especially for a high-quality game with strong voice acting, excellent sound, amazing graphics with interesting world design, and some rather unique gameplay elements thrown in here and there. And, just like with A Way Out and It Takes Two, the game supports local

King of Meat Is Cooked

Today marks the end of a game that never really got started.Just over six months after its release, the plug is being pulled on King of Meat, the action-based online co-op dungeon crawler developed by Glowmade and published by Amazon Games. Set in a fantasy world of undead, monsters, and magic, King of Meat takes place on the set of its eponymous game show - a show in which one to four contenders undergo the challenge to conquer various dungeons full of combat, puzzles, and platforming. The game was visually polished with excellent voice acting. Its writing had a satirical tone that

Manairons Review

Manairons is a game that absolutely piqued my interest solely off the visual whimsy and intrigue it seemed to offer at first glace. A gorgeous art-style not visited as often as I'd like, the announcement trailer gave me a little tug. I've always been a sucker for dark whimsy, and this game looked like it might just fit that bill. While visuals can't provide a full carry on titles, the concept itself looked interesting and unique. That uniqueness, really starts from the developmental level.Developed by both 3Cat and Jandusoft. Of note, Jandusoft is a developer/publisher out of Barcelona, Spain that seems

The Inquisitor Review

The Inquisitor is a unique take on the lore of Jesus and may not be appreciated by all, nor may my commentary. For this reason, I  would caution before reading the following review. The Outer Worlds 2 Review

This is not the usual type of game review I do, since I largely focus on indie games, so this review will be somewhat different and more comprehensive (aka long) than typical. There is a lot of game and a lot to discuss and it deserves a lot of attention. The Outer Worlds 2 was developed by Obsidian Entertainment, who brought you not only the first in this series, but also Fallout: New Vegas, the Pillars of Eternity series (one of my favorites), Knights of the Old Republic 2 (another favorite), Pentiment, South Park: Stick of Truth, Neverwinter Nights 2 (another favorite),

Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition Review

Death is something that, often, we try to avoid in every way, shape, and form. It's discomfort; cold and cruel. It often greets us when we least expect it with open arms, touching those around us suddenly, ruthlessly, without mercy- and leaves a trail of Emptiness and Despair in it's wake. Often we associate thoughts of Death as something quick, cold and calculating. However, despite SpiritFarer: Farewell Edition being almost entirely about Death, and many of the emotions it entails, it is really none of the afore mentioned things. While it may be wrapped in a beautifully gorgeous hand drawn facade,

The Mildew Children Review

"Yes, truly the stars lay out winding paths before us. It seems I am too young to understand their true intent (...) Just as you are too young. And even your sisters who have survived the sunset. We're all too young here." - OokletHave you ever wondered what would truly happen if we never grew up? Or rather, if we weren't ever allowed to grow up? What if our innocence became the root of a despair that we can't escape because we are at the mercy of forces we cannot begin to understand? "The Mildew Children" explores those questions in detail with

JETRUNNER Review

It's time for parkour! Not like I'm a huge fan or anything, but I do enjoy some parkour games, and I totally fell in love with Mirror's Edge Catalyst, that one is definitely my favourite parkour game. I also played a few games that are only about parkour, with obstacle courses and time challenges, so yeah, here we are now. JETRUNNER is a new parkour game released on September 4th, 2025, developed by Riddlebit Software and published by Curveball Games. The interesting part is... we actually have a story here too! Of course it's not super deep or anything, but it's definitely more
