Snake's News - The Nvidia Redemption
A lil' bit later than usual. I'm a human too, I have to sleep y'know. Also, I had to re-post this 3 times.GTX970 LAWSUIT FINISHEDIf you remember - the GTX970 was advertised as having 4GB of memory, despite having 3.5GB + 0.5GB in reality (don't even do the maths on this, it is a HUGE difference). Anyway, after a mass lawsuit Nvidia has lost and offered to refund $30 to all US customers who bought it.Why $30? Apparently that's how much cheaper the card would be if it was advertised as 3.5GB in the beginning.MAFIA 3: MEET THE VOODOO QUEENAnother trailer
The thing about Mafia III
BUONA SERA FAMIGLIAMafia III will be released on October 7th and for me as an absolute passionate mafia lover, it comes with mixed feelings. The mafia theme always had something attractive and I remember the good old first Mafia game. A well dressed gentleman does everything to serve and protect the family of Salieri and gets more and more involved in this entire underground business that - when we're all honest - loved so much. The atmosphere of being a mobster that gets straight into his crazy everyday life:Protection moneyWhiskey smuggling Contract killingDrive-BysAnd so much more. For my part and I bet many of you as
Snake's News - Do you want some death with that?
So, today's news are centered mostly about death. Half of them at least.MAFIA 3 LIVE-ACTION TRAILER - DEATH SUITS YOU2K keeps trying to shove Lincoln Clay down our throats. I guess we can still watch this trailer to see if there's any shitty acting.VHS IS DEADSo, this day marks the end of VHS. Funai Electric - the last company producing VHS players and casettes - has stopped production of those due to shortage of components and low consumption (even then, 750k players were bought last year). That's something big, considering the fact that VHS entered the market 40 years ago. Rest
Snake's News - Japaneese Witchers, bats, and other shenaningans
So today...uhh...something something news.SECOND NIOH BETA INBOUNDBetween 23rd of August and 6th of September second beta of NiOh - the game about the guy looking like japaneese "Discount Geralt" - will be available for public to play. After the Dark Souls slash Ninja Gaiden experience we had in the first one - I expect it only to get better and better. The second demo will have a new level and a dojo for newbies to train their moves and weapons in. Also, some information about the plot - it will be inspired by the biography of William Adams - a sailor

Glad to hear! The rewind feature is a great idea, but, unfortunately, we rejected it in the early stages of development. Not sure if it was the right decision : )
Your article helps with understaning what impression the game makes. Thanks and good luck you too with your efforts!

Thank you for the compliment, I have enjoyed this brain-teaser quite a bit, well done! Curious to see what those ideas will be, I'm hoping one of them to be the rewind feature. Good luck for the launch!

Thank you. I'm sure you could probably tell from reading the article, but Out of Sight is a game that feels particularly personal for me, partly due to my state while playing it, but also because I had been waiting for a Prey sequel for years and will likely be waiting forever.
I hope I was able to keep my objectivity - I tried!
I would love to return to Prey sometime for a review.
I'll have to see if I can track down a copy when I'm done with my current projects.

As someone who also loved the original Prey but tried hard and failed to enjoy the 2017 release (not a bad game, just not for me), I thought this article was really well written. Maybe one day you'll consider doing a retro review of the original?

UPDATE: There are now 100 products in the Trove. Of course, the majority of these are smaller or novelty titles, as there's no way to purchase OP points and fraud up to now basically cut away the little profit we made from things like quests or ads, they're essentially reskinned giveaways, so there's only so much we can list for "purchase" there.
The store will include both Trove and standard products, so is the place to look for any more premium games you might want - but again, as per the article, this is majorly being stripped back and will hold limited titles moving forward.September 20, 2023 -

The Trove had already been cut back, the store is where the bulk of the work needs to be done as this can't be done automatically like we could with the Trove.
That said, we expect to be able to add more to the Trove once the store work has been completed so it should actually increase a little.
