Mayhem in Single Valley Review

A peaceful morning turned chaotic that forces you to travel across a single valley stumbling upon a mysterious plot hidden in the town seemingly involves endangering every single soul in the valley and it’s up to you to correct the course in battles without a fight, puzzles without a hint, in a world coated in pixel arts and 8-bit music.Story as the Context for All the MechanicsMayhem in Single Valley is exactly what the title suggests - in a single valley a chaotic incident happens that causes mayhem in which you are somehow involved and it is up to you to

It came from space and ate our brains Review

I swear I didn't mind pink before I played this game...It came from space and was all pink. The game doesn't quite deliver on the brains eating part. I mean it does say your brain was eaten when you die, but I was expecting something more from a game which has brain eating in its title. An animation that demonstrates how a brain is eaten on your character and what becomes of it afterwards? No, the pink aliens do eat brains, but for you they'll make a merciful exception and just kill you.Okay, maybe I am nitpicking. After all, It came

Hare In The Hat Review

Few words about the gameReally great Point and Click game, full of puzzles and brain-teasers with pleasant soundtrack in the background. Your goal as a player is to solve a bunch of puzzles placed around the room to free a hare that is being kept by a magician. Personally I didn't play any puzzle game in a looong time, and it brought back so many memories from childhood that I just want to play more puzzles, riddles and adventure games like this one :DAdvantagesSounds and music is good and on pointPuzzles are fun to solve, and they're not too hard, what

Trying Final Fantasy XIV After Almost 20 Years on World of Warcraft

I have played World of Warcraft going back to its early roots when the base game was still current content. I helped start and lead my first guild around late 2009, which was the first of 3 consecutive guilds running as recent as the last year or two. I went to my first Blizzcon in 2013 and every single year after that until 2019. That all being said, I have always been someone who saw myself playing World of Warcraft in some capacity until the end of its run whenever that might be. While I am not so certain World of

The Story of Henry Bishop - Review

The Story of Henry Bishop is an indie horror game filled with escape-room-esque puzzles that proves how ideas and execution are more important than technicality, in which the game shows a little more than conventional walking-horror but a lot less than a survival-horror, all made only by one kind mind with passion in horror. One Man's Passion for A Game's HorrorA horror game enthusiast would most likely be burnt out by now by the scares and sorrows dumped into the game as a couple of cheap tricks to get you convinced you are spending your money right. Nobody ever gets fooled by

A Story About My Uncle Review

Few words about the gameExciting and lovely game about exploring a new, unknown world full of beautiful and thrilling views. All you have is a grappling hook and a quest to find your lost uncle. At first, I wasn't sure about this game because let's face it, what game, with this kind of description, might offer us? Apparently A LOT more than you think, as on me, it left a huge impression. One of the best, prettiest adventure games around, 100% worth it.AdvantagesWorld is full of colourful and magnificent graphics, what makes it exceptionally atmosphericCharming characters models and nice concept of

Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries Review

I’ve never been a mech fanatic, so I had low expectations when I booted up MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries for the first time. Then again, I tend to take this approach when I review games. It almost always turns into a pleasant surprise. MechWarrior was no exception. Rather than ease myself into the world of mechs, I decided to drop right into the heat of battle through a preset scenario in the Instant Action game mode. Armed to the teeth with the highest tonnage mech in the game—which meant nothing to me at the time—I quickly realized that speed is not an advantage

Plight of the Zombie Review

Few words about the gamePlight of the Zombie - the only game where you control zombies, and you actually get sad when they die. And they die a lot, as you need to sacrifice some of them to pass levels. Afterlife is brutal... But thanks to them, you can have at least few hours of fun playing it. Your goal is to collect as many "braainz" as you can in each level to be able to pass to another section of the game, full of new rules and puzzles. If this is not enough for you, worry not! Collecting brains gives

Let's Review No More Heroes

TL;DR:No More Heroes for PC is a lazy but functional port of a very lazy remastered version of the original game for Nintendo Wii. The deep combat system, interesting story, and color full boss fights make it a 10/10 for me. The flaws that they couldn't be bothered to fix for the Nintendo Switch version are also carried over to here, making it a 5/10 from a critical standpoint. This is where the new stuff begins  for those who came from Instagram, Vivaldi blogs and stuff so welcome aboard.Introduction:Imagine this dear reader. It is exams season, but you don't like studying. So
